Label detail
EU Ecolabel
The EU's official environmental label for tourist accommodation — highest credibility across 27 member states.
EU / ISPRA
The EU Ecolabel is the only environmental label regulated directly by the European Commission via regulation. For tourist accommodation, 22 mandatory criteria apply plus a points system with 45 optional criteria (at least 20 points required). In Italy it is awarded by ISPRA. As the official EU environmental label it carries the highest credibility and, as a recognised third-party certification, can be listed as sustainable on booking platforms.
